A Suffolk Superior Court jury today found Dwayne Moore guilty of killing three adults and a toddler on Sept. 28, 2010.
Moore is expected to be formally sentenced Tuesday to a sentence of life without possibility of parole; his lawyer announced plans to appeal.
A trial earlier this year ended in the acquittal of co-defendant Edward Washington and a mistrial for Moore after the jury deadlocked.
"At long last, I hope the victims and their families can take some small comfort in knowing that justice was done on their behalf, Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley said in a statement. "This is how justice is done – not in the street, with retaliation, but in court, with the careful presentation of all the facts and all the evidence. "
