Music Clubhouse News
This coming Thursday (5/12), our Choral group, Club Glee, will be performing two songs at our New England Women’s Leadership Awards Dinner at the Seaport World Trade Center. We would also like to congratulate Club member, Rebecca Frazier, who will represent our site in the Music Clubhouse Idol Showcase this weekend (5/14) at Berklee College. Our initial competitions saw over 30 acts try- out, which were quickly narrowed down to 12, then four, before Rebecca’s selection. She will now have the opportunity to perform in front of a larger audience featuring the winners from all of the other Music Clubhouse locations. In addition, Rebecca will join her 11 other finalists at the Club to create a compilation CD with each recording a version of the song they performed during the local competition. In other news from the Music Clubhouse we are currently offering a limited small group lesson program through June, Friday Night Live (Rock Band & D.J. Hero) and will host our monthly Open Mic Night on 5/20. For information on the Music program contact Ayeisha Mathis at ext. 1410.
